1. Are lessons private?
Yes, all our lessons are private 1 on 1 sessions. Learn at your own pace with the guidance of your personal RiderNow instructor.
2. Does this lesson waive my DMV test?
No. Although this lesson does not provide a DMV waiver, we try our very best to inform you and practice exercises that will be on your test. Our Lessons are designed for beginners in mind who want to learn from a personal instructor.
3. Do I need a license (M1) or motorcycle permit before taking the class?
No. We are here to help new riders get on their first motorcycle!
4. What exactly does RiderNow provide me the day of my lesson?
Every lesson package provides a motorcycle, helmet, and gloves.
For your convenience our helmets range from size SM-XL.
5. What is the damage policy?
Although our motorcycle comes equipped with a crash cage for added protection in case of a minor fall, the damage policy stands as follows: “In consideration of RiderNow not requesting an upfront security deposit I agree to pay for the replacement of any broken parts, damage done to the motorcycle, or repairs needed as a result of my use. This includes towing fees, public transportation, and or taxicab costs required due to the motorcycle being out of commission, but excludes repairs needed due to normal wear and tear of the motorcycle.
6. Is the address on google or yelp the location my lesson is held?
No, RiderNow has various locations throughout San Jose, CA where lessons are provided. Depending on scheduling the location and details will be provided to you after checkout. The address provided on our website, google, or yelp is merely our in home office location.
7. What if it rains?
Sometimes weather can be unpredictable and that’s okay. In case of heavy rain on your given day, your instructor will reschedule your lesson for the next available session. Our main priority at RiderNow is that every rider is safe and satisfied with their riding session.
8. Can I reschedule my session?
Yes. You can reschedule your session one time only if requested before 48 hours of an already scheduled session.
9. What is the cancellation policy?
A full refund is provided only if cancelled before 48 hours of your scheduled session.
10. Can I tip my instructor?
Yes of course, although not required.
